Reviewing installation options

The Knowledge Builder software gives you the following three installation choices to match you planned topology.

TIP During installation, the defined Knowledge Builder Server location becomes that Client's System Default Server. The targeted Server location can be changed without uninstalling the Knowledge Builder Client.

Installation Option	Description
Full	Installs both the Client and Server (selected booksets) to the local or a remote computer.
Client	Installs only the client to the local computer targets a user specified remote Server location.
CD-ROM	Installs the Client to the local computer and targets the local computer's CD-ROM drive as the Server location
Server Only	Installs only Server (selected booksets) on a designated network location, where a functional Knowledge Builder Client is not required. A full or client install can then browse to this server only location.
